What is vape juice expiration date?

Does vape juice expire? As we have known that, e-liquids will also have an expiration date printed somewhere on the bottle. Just like food products, it will have a date printed on it along with labels such as ‘purchase expired’, ‘use by’ or ‘best before’. The FDA states that “this information is entirely at the discretion of the manufacturer.”

In other words, if a product is dangerous to consumers, it is subject to FDA action, regardless of the printed date on the label. Generally, companies voluntarily add expiration dates to their packaging and generally do so in accordance with Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) guidelines.

Additionally, E-liquid expiration dates differ slightly from fresh food dates as e-liquid is shelf stable.

Essentially, it means that the product is less likely to react with its surroundings and is therefore more durable. Per FSIS guidelines, non-perishable products must be printed one month and one year.
